Area Of Effect (AoE) - This is a spell that exceeds the 1 meter by 1 meter dimensions or effects more then one person. AoE spells gets ranked down in damage.

Damage Over Time (DoT) - You can do damage over time. However, the maximum number of posts you can deal damage over is 3 posts. Each post the damage lasts for, the damage is decreased by 1 rank. You must sustain DoT spells.

Sustains - When you sustain a spell, you make a spell last as long as you allow it to. This length can be up to your magic energy's limits. It takes 25% of your magic energy to sustain a spell. If it happens to end up with a decimal, you round up.

Knock back - Knock back is a specific type of offensive attack. While it deals no damage initially, it can knock somebody back to spell range. When you have a knock back spell with damage incorporated into it, both the damage and knock back length are halved. E-Rank spells cannot do knock back.

Multi-Effect Spells - Spells can have more then one effect. However, for each effect added, all effects of the spells are halved.


Offensive spells are spells that causes harm. There are 6 different types of damage and each damage has its own different effect. E-Rank spells cannot be offensive spells.


  • Blunt - This is anything that fulls on hits the opponent kind of in a crushing way. This causes breaks in mainly the bone. Things like hammers, clubs, or anything flat or rounded may cause this type of damage.
  • Slashing - Slashing damage is produced by things that have blades which creates anything ranging from cuts to large and deep gashes.
  • Piercing - Things like bullets and arrows causes this type of damage. This damage is so unique because it can penetrate through defenses splitting the damage between the defense and the person. The damage however of piercing damage is halved.
  • Burning - Flames and anything of the fire element (including sub elements) can cause this kind of damage. This can make the skin blister to deal out 6th degree burns.
  • Freezing - This is the ice/snow version of burning damage. This also has the unique ability to cause frostbite.
  • Poison - Poison damage is so unique because this is the only type of damage that can target both internal and external parts of the body. The internal damage can cause people to be sick or having hurt internal organs. External can cause blistering and burning of the skin.

Defensive spells blocks damage. There are 2 types of defenses. There are walls and shields. Walls are stationary and can defend up to more then shields. Shields can move while they defend a basic spell's damage. E-Rank spells cannot be defensive spells.

There are three types of supplementary spells. There are buffs, enhancements, and detection spells. Buffs are limited to buffing and support magics. Enhancements provides for special effects like being able to jump at a certain height or to move at certain speeds and more. Detection spells allows to see invisible things of the same rank and allows to sense up to the spell's range. E-Rank spells cannot be buffs or detection spells.

Enhancements


  • D-Rank - Effects one foot or one hand
  • C-Rank - Effects two feet or two hands
  • B-Rank - Effects a leg or an arm
  • A-Rank - Effects two legs or two arms
  • S-Rank - Effects bottom or top portion of body
  • SS-Rank - Effects whole body
  • X-Rank - Effects two whole bodies or outside area (range applies)
  • Z-Rank - Effects three whole bodies or outside area (range applies)


Detection


  • D-Rank - Allows for detection of D-Rank concealment or invisible spells. Can sense perfectly up to 10 meters.
  • C-Rank - Allows for detection of D-Rank concealment or invisible spells. Can sense perfectly up to 20 meters.
  • B-Rank - Allows for detection of B-Rank concealment or invisible spells. Can sense perfectly up to 30 meters.
  • A-Rank - Allows for detection of A-Rank concealment or invisible spells. Can sense perfectly up to 40 meters.
  • S-Rank - Allows for detection of S-Rank concealment or invisible spells. Can sense perfectly up to 50 meters.
  • SS-Rank - Allows for detection of SS-Rank concealment or invisible spells. Can sense perfectly up to 60 meters.
  • X-Rank - Allows for detection of X-Rank concealment or invisible spells. Can sense perfectly up to 80 meters.
  • Z-Rank - Allows for detection of Z-Rank concealment or invisible spells. Can sense perfectly up to 100 meters.



Deleterious spells are the exact opposite of supplementary spells. Instead of improving somebody, deleterious spells worsen a person. There are debuffs and detriments. Debuffs are the opposite of buffs, they worsen a stat. Detriments are the opposite of enhancements. They can do things like blind somebody or disable somebody. E-Rank spells cannot be deleterious spells.

Detriments

  • X-Rank - Effects two whole bodies or outside area (range applies), can nullify 3 senses
  • Z-Rank - Effects three whole bodies or outside area (range applies), can nullify all senses



Healing spells are sectioned into recovery, removal, and regaining spells. Recovery spells recovers lost health. This can last up to 2 posts. Removal spells removes the effects of deleterious spells. Regaining spells regains lost body parts. E-Rank spells cannot heal.

  • S-Rank - Removes the effects of a S-Ranked deleterious spell
  • SS-Rank - Removes the effects of a SS-Ranked deleterious spell
  • X-Rank - Removes the effects of a X-Ranked deleterious spell
  • Z-Rank - Removes the effects of a Z-Ranked deleterious spell


Regaining


  • A-Rank - Regains one foot or one hand
  • S-Rank - Regains two feet or two hands
  • SS-Rank - Regains a leg or an arm
